Greetings to all our friends and family.

So far, 2014 has been a little more eventful than the last few. On June 30th, we adopted a puppy. Her name is Roxy and she is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix. She's a little over a year old at this point.

Leon's hours have been up and down. Weeks on end at 40 hours, then it's 65+ over seven days. Not always that easy for him. Right after Thanksgiving, they upped the hours, and starting December 15 - seven days a week for the foreseeable future. He's been told he'll have a half day off for Christmas Eve, and all day Christmas and New Year's days. UGH!

Yvonne is continuing to operate yKnot Services. In getting back to her accounting roots, she launched money management (not to be confused with financial planning) October 4, 2013. She is helping senior and disabled citizens as well as busy professionals take care of their personal bookkeeping. Writing checks, paying bills, reconciling bank statements and more. You can go to www.CheckbookBalancer.com to get more information on these services. If you know anyone in that "sandwich generation" taking care of the parents as well as their immediate family, she can take some of the stress off by overseeing and handling the money management duties for the seniors. She's also working with solopreneurs to do their monthly bookkeeping and accounting.

If you'd like to keep in touch via social media, Yvonne's on Facebook and LinkedIn as well as, to a small extent, Twitter.

The Princess doesn't get too much mention because she's happy and healthy and oh, so good. We refer to her as a "Mary Poppins dog" (practically perfect in every way)! She really loves her Principality and gives us great joy. She became a teenager on December 5th. She loves the cold weather & snow. Here she is after one of the many heavy snowfalls this past winter.

We revisited a favorite Michigan winery, and visited a couple new ones. Picked up a case and a half of delicious Michigan fruit wines. YUM! 4

There was a family wedding near Niagara Falls, so we made a weekend of it, staying in the same building the wedding was in. How convenient. It was wonderful visiting with folks we haven't seen since our last trip!

We managed a motorcycle ride most Sundays this year from late Spring through mid Fall.

We hope that each and every one of you have a blessed holiday season, good health and much prosperity in the coming year!

If you'd like to send us an e-mail, we'd love to hear from you! leon@kniazfamily.com for Leon or ydk@kniazfamily.com for Yvonne.
